Freshwater linear animals form complex food webs with various creatures and serve to maintain the balance of freshwater ecosystems, and are used as biomarkers for environmental assessment. Linear animals are commonly called nematodes and are small worms with a body length of only 1 mm. They are a large group of diversity distributed freely in freshwater, seawater and soil, or distributed in parasitic forms on animals and plants.Tobrirus Averans is the first freshwater linear animal found in the Nakdong River and features tofu's bristles and two pockets (image D, head).
