Ecological characteristics
Inhabits rivers with slow water, and lakes. Body length reach up to 10 cm. Spawning from June to July. and Pacific Oceans between the Ob and the Huang He.
Females lay eggs over bottom vegetation and any substrates. Feeds on larvae of chironomids and other Ecological characteristics
invertebrates. Cold water species. Inhabits rivers with high current velocity and gravel bottom. Body length reach up
to 16-18 cm. Spawning in May. Females lay eggs on gravel. Feeds on benthic invertebrates, mainly
insect larvae.
