            with 35 scales.

            Inhabits relatively cold, oxygen rich and clean running waters. In large rivers basically occurs in spring
            and fall. Often hiding under rocks. Body length reach up to 20 cm. Spawning in May. Usually feeds on
            benthic insect larvae and also feed on fish.
